University of Nottingham signs Memorandum of Agreement with Ningbo City College of Vocational Technology

During October and November, four members of the School of Education visited China to develop new partnerships and consolidate existing ones:

• Professor Juliet Thondhlana - UNESCO Chair of International Education and Development
• Professor Chirstopher Day
• Dr Yuwei Xu

A key achievement from the visit is a new Memorandum of Agreement between the University of Nottingham and Ningbo City College of Vocational Technology, led by the UNESCO Chair of International Education and Development network. The college is located in Ningbo City, whose campus is right next to the University of Nottingham's Ningbo Campus.

This new partnership aims to facilitate closer connections between the university's three campuses (UK, China and Malaysia) and the city of Ningbo, focusing on vocational and adult education which are areas of strength in the School of Education.
