University of Nottingham and Association of African Universities collaboration

From 18 to 21 March 2025, Professor Juliet Thondhlana, Dr Alicia Bowman and Dr Tingting Yuan, School of Education members of the UNESCO Chair Network in International Education and Development, visited Ghana to strengthen the research and knowledge exchange partnership between the University of Nottingham and the Association of African Universities (AAU).

Activities included gathering and evaluating feedback to improve future writing workshops for African early-career researchers, co-creation of a sustainable model for capacity strengthening and the co-development of concrete avenues for future collaboration, including joint research projects.
