Emeritus Professor nominated for book award

Congratulations to Emeritus Professor W John Morgan whose recently published book, Cultural Cold Wars and UNESCO in the Twentieth Century, has been nominated for the 2025 Wayne S. Vucinich Book Prize in the United States.

Established in 1983, the prize sponsored by the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEES) and Stanford University, is awarded annually for the most important contribution to the field in any discipline of the humanities or social sciences published in English in the United States in the previous calendar year.  The prize carries a cash award and is presented at the annual ASEES convention which will take place in November.
