Collaboration

The Observatory’s three longitudinal cohort studies are a major, long-term collaboration with around 400 Research Partner schools, colleges and universities.  

Research Partner schools have been invited to participate following a careful sampling process.  They represent the wide range of state-funded schools across the country. Together the cohort studies comprise the largest ever longitudinal study of mathematics education in England.
