Biography
I started my career teaching English as a Foreign Language in schools in Germany and Italy, before moving on to teach and lead languages in secondary schools in the UK. This led me to work in Initial Teacher Education as a Modern Languages PGCE tutor and Teach First Lead Tutor for Modern Languages and Professional Studies and Practice. In my current role as Regional Coordinator for the University's PGCE International in Africa, I oversee PGCEi cohorts in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. I am also the Programme Leader for the BA Hons Education at the University.
Teaching Summary
My teaching currently focuses on BA Hons Education undergraduates, PGCE International students in Kenya and Nigeria, EdD and PhD students.
Research Summary
My current research focuses on creativity in the classroom, North/South educational partnerships and global ITE programmes
