Approach to student partnership (co-creation approach overview)

The Students as Change Agents projects play an important role in the University’s goal for co-creation where staff and students can work together to develop aspects of the university that improve student engagement and overall university experience.

Co-creating with students gives them the autonomy to develop, design, evaluate and enhance their own learning experience as they collaborate. The co-creation approach acknowledges that a staff-student collaboration initiative benefits from both the staff's professional input and skills as well as the student voice, which is a unique yet valuable perspective. This approach is beneficial as students who participate in the scheme become more motivated to engage and more pro-active within the university, which fosters a stronger sense of belonging.
