Transcending Space: Bridging the Profane into Sacred

Design Statement

The thesis orchestrates an architectural pilgrimage culminating in a multi-faith sanctuary. It embraces architectural elements to create a deliberate progression from profane to sacred. The journey concludes at the multi-faith centre, epitomizing architectures capacity to unify diverse belief and nurture spiritual solace.

Design Proposal

The design proposal envisions a pilgrimage though one point to the multi faith space through the physical act of pilgrimage creates a deliberate and intentional transition, crafted through architectural elements that guide and inspire. As visitors progress through the landscape  they transcend the ordinary, to numinous when they arrive at the multi faith space.

The multi-faith center stands as the end point of this pilgrimage – a testament to the power of architecture to transcend boundaries and create a shared sanctuary for the human spirit.
