Vertical Industry and Manufacturing Futures

This building related to the production, sale, and exhibition of shoes. Following Bernard Tschumi's design philosophy, the architectural space is determined by events and activities within the building. The design idea comes from the assembly process of shoes. This assembly process is similar to the assembly of building blocks, which is further linked to the formation of vertical buildings. The different parts of shoes are produced by different machines, which determine the shape of space of each factory process. Thus, each process space in this vertical factory has its own unique spatial form. The building is mainly divided into two parts, one is the factory space, and the other is the workshop and leisure space for tourists. Tourists can also enter the building to make their own shoes.
