Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering
Adam Walker received his PhD in electrical machine design from the University of Nottingham, after which he spent time in several research positions at the university. In 2018 Adam was promoted to his current position of Assistant Professor of Electrical Machines and Drives in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Adam is a member of the Power Electronics, Machines and Control research group.

Currently Teaching: H64AMD/ADL/ADP - Advanced AC Drives
Adam is currently researching into two areas:
Electrical machines for high power automotive applications
Minimising passive magnetic components
