Originating in Taiwan, bubble tea has become very popular worldwide in young adults and teenagers between the ages of 15 and 35. The combination of tea, fruit flavouring or milk, and toppings such as chewy tapioca pearls create a flavourful and unique experience. There was a gap in the market that allowed for tea brewing and syrup dispensing, thus I created ‘Bubble Base'. Bubble Base is a kitchen appliance where bubble tea enthusiasts, or people who enjoy deliciously crafted tea, will have the ability to create a boba drink at home.

Combining traditional tea brewing techniques and modern technology, Bubble Base can extract and dispense a variety of flavours such as black, green, oolong, fruit-based teas, and many more. The machine offers customisation of tea brewing and syrup sweetener strength to fit the users desired taste.
