Biography

Mark Gillott is a Professor of Sustainable Building Design and a member of the Buildings, Energy and Environment research group, with over 20 years' experience in low carbon sustainable energy technologies and sustainable building design.

He is the research and project manager for the multi-award winning Creative Energy Homes low/zero carbon housing project, which incorporates an electricity micro-grid which utilises community energy stores and demand side management technologies.
