Door 7 – Welcome campaign
Background
The welcome experience for new students was in need of improvement with fragmented and inconsistent communications across the institution.
Objectives
A campaign group was assembled to work across key marketing and comms functions to:
- Create a cohesive, distinctive and compelling look and feel which wraps all important welcome activities together
- Coordinate communications – so students are not overwhelmed during pre-arrival and their first week
- Reduce duplication of information sent to new students during the first eight weeks
Results
A cohesive campaign look and feel was developed – with input from students to help refine the creative.
The campaign generated:
- A more coordinated approach to communications across the institution
- Increased website views and app downloads
- Positive engagement on social media
