Door 7 – Welcome campaign

 

Background

The welcome experience for new students was in need of improvement with fragmented and inconsistent communications across the institution.

Objectives

A campaign group was assembled to work across key marketing and comms functions to:

  • Create a cohesive, distinctive and compelling look and feel which wraps all important welcome activities together
  • Coordinate communications – so students are not overwhelmed during pre-arrival and their first week
  • ​Reduce duplication of information sent to new students during the first eight weeks 

Results

A cohesive campaign look and feel was developed – with input from students to help refine the creative​. 

The campaign generated:

  • A more coordinated approach to communications across the institution
  • Increased website views and app downloads
  • Positive engagement on social media
