Biographical details

Born in Tocaima, Colombia, in 1669, she became a nun. In 1727 she wrote about her spiritual life, this was published in 1994 as Autobiografía de una monja venerable. (Robledo, a, 211)

Her confessor of 20 years, Juan de Olmos, collected and complied her work adding a prologue detailing her life to what was titled, Vida de la Madre Jerónima del Espíritu Santo Religiosa clarisa de Santafé. (Robledo, b, 35-42)

She died in Bogotá in 1727.
