Biographical details

From San Juan, Argentina, the aunt of José Ignacio de la Roza. She married José Antonio de Godoy y Oro. During the independence struggles she was one of several San Juan women who donated money and jewels to the cause. "El Aporte de la mujer sanjuanina a la gesta libertadora del General San Martín".
She donated 25 pesos in cash, "un mulato de edad de veinte y seis años y en su defecto el importe de 200 pesos en vino y aguardiente", "cuatro fanegas de trigo" valued at 9 pesos, and "idean de harina" valued at 12 pesos. Total value 246 pesos. (Guerrero, 60)

She helped to make the flag that San Juan sent for the Ejército de los Andes in 1816. (Sosa de Newton, 557)
