Biographical details

The sister of José Ignacio de la Roza, from San Juan, Argentina. During the independence struggles she was one of several San Juan women who donated money and jewels to the cause. "El Aporte de la mujer sanjuanina a la gesta libertadora del General San Martín".

"Obló una peineta de oro con diez perlas con peso de onza doce adarmes y una cadena de lo mismo con peso de once una onza quince adarmes" valued at 43.25 pesos. (Guerrero, 59)

She helped her sisters make the flag that San Juan sent for the Ejército de los Andes. (Sosa de Newton, 557)
