Biographical details

A philanthropist born in Buenos Aires on 6 February 1810 to Spanish parents. She married José María Gallardo on 1 January 1832. She inherited a vast tract of land in Bella Vista and made numerous donations to public works. She died in Buenos Aires on 21 February 1890. A school bears her name. (Sosa de Newton, 212)
