Biographical details

The daughter of Manuela Santamaría de Manrique, and sister of Josefa Manrique, she wrote and recited poems at her mother's tertulia in Bogotá. Only one survived, and is described as a mediocre imitation of a Safa ode. (Díaz y Díaz, 107; Robledo, 32-33)

She was part of the González Manrique, Alvarez, Ricaurte, París, Pardo, Nariño clan. (Monsalve, 139)
