Biographical details

From Caracas, she was the widow of Captain Manuel Gomez Campos, who died during the independence struggles serving under General Monteverde. In February 1816 a pension of 3 reales vellon daily was approved by the royalist government. (Gaceta de Caracas, 14/2/1816, p.472.)
