Biographical details

In February 1820 her only son Josef de los Santos, was killed fighting for the royalists in Cumaná, Venezuela. The Captain General of Caracas, Antonio Tovar, suggested that she be given a subsistence in his honour. (Gaceta de Caracas, 8/3/1820, p.2260.)
