Biographical details

She was born around 1730 and is said to have been a patriota de La Plata, but is included as from Sucre. She and her sister Bárbara were imprisoned and exiled to Oruro for their support of the independence cause. They were in their nineties. She died in prison. (Urquidi, 158)
