Biographical details

From Cochabamba, Bolivia, she worked as a spy. In 1810, she thwarted the royalist plans against Rivero, Arze and Guzmán Quintón, warning them that they had been discovered. She was imprisoned by Governor José González Prado, but released when he fell from power. (Urquidi, 201-202)
