Biographical details

She hosted pro-independence meetings at her La Paz home in early 1809. The first Junta Superior de Gobierno came from her house as did the Junta Tuitiva. She maintained that she was in favour of loyalty to Fernando VII and that the government was in his name. (Monsalve, 36)
