Biographical details

She is mentioned in connection to the Chillo conspiracy, Quito, in 1809. She was imprisoned in October 1809 for participating in the overthrow of the Quito audiencia. According to Monsalve, this was a mistake. Dr. Morales had recommended a friend of hers for a job that was unimportant and for this she was connected to Morales and imprisoned. (Monsalve, 41, 43)

Presumably related to Rosa Checa.
