Biographical details

From Tejar, she was friends with Rosa Zárate and Nicolás de la Peña. In July 1813 she and her partner, Antonio Endorza, intercepted the party carrying the heads of the executed Rosa Zárate and Nicolás de la Peña to Quito. The heads were buried in the panteón. (Monsalve, 47-48)
