Biographical details

From Mexico, she accompanied her husband in the defence of the fuerte de San Gregorio. He was captured and sentenced to death and she spoke to Viceroy Apodaca to obtain his pardon. (Domenella, 368)

The daughter of Lucía García de Borja.

On 24 October 1818 Dr Tiburcio García petitioned Viceroy Juan Ruiz de Apodaca for her freedom, together with her mother Lucía Garía and her aunt, Mariana. (Miquel i Vergés, 221)
