A Venezuelan woman who, on the death of her husband, José de Orta, offered her sons to the independence cause, the youngest, a child, Miguel stayed with her. (Monsalve, 79-80)

In November 1817 Bolívar described her as a ciudadana. (Monsalve, 255)
