Biographical details

Born in La Plata, the daughter of Luis Rodríguez Durán and Rosa Polanco, she married Emigdio Benítez, from Socorro. He was executed by the royalists in July 1816 for his part in the independence cause. Their daughter was Josefa Benítez. (Monsalve, 139)
