Biographical details

Born on 26 September 1764 in Bogotá, she was the daughter of Francisco Antonio Moreno y Escandóa and María Teresa Isabella y Aguado. She married Pantaleón Gutiérrez y Díaz Quijano on 23 December 1780. She died on La Herrera hacienda on 31 May 1851. Her son, José Gregorio Gutiérrez Moreno was shot in 1816 for his services to the independence cause. Another son, Agustín gave service to the independence cause abroad. She died on La Herrera hacienda on 31 May 1851. (Monsalve, 157)

She was the mother-in-law of Antonia Vergara Sanz de Santamaría.
