Biographical details

She was a diminutive, extremely caring woman from Bogotá. She married Coronel Benito Salas. He was executed by the royalists in Neiva on 18 September 1816. Her daughter, Joaquina Salas was born shortly afterwards, a nervous child. She was exiled from Bogotá. (Monsalve, 163-164)
