Biographical details

From Neiva, Colombia, in 1817 she and Tomasa Rodríguez were captured and taken to Popayán in chains and where they were condemned to death by a Consejo de Guerra and executed for their part in an attempt to help some soldiers desert. (Monsalve, 184)
