Biographical details

She was the daughter of Miguel Ricaurte y Rigeiros and Josefa Manrique y Sanz de Santamaría, sister of Gil and Félix Ricaurte of Bogotá. She married Gregorio Tanco y Manrique.
On August 1819 she was among a group of 20 young women from distinguished families presented to Bolívar when he arrived at Bogotá in triumph. (Monsalve, 219, 222)

She was part of the González Manrique, Alvarez, Ricaurte, París, Pardo, Nariño clan. (Monsalve, 139)
