Biographical details

A member of a leading honourable family from Turbaco, Colombia. During Morillo's occupation of Cartagena, she was arrested at Torrecilla on suspicion of being a spy in August 1815. She was shot dead in cold blood. Monsalve believes she was a patriot, but an innocent victim. (Monsalve, 240)
