From Bogotá, she was the daughter of Rafaela Isasi and José María Lozano, and niece of Jorge Tadeo Lozano. She married Colonel Antonio Racines, becoming sister-in-law of Rita Racines y Cicero. (Monsalve, 238-239)

She was part of the González Manrique, Alvarez, Ricaurte, París, Pardo, Nariño clan on her mother's side. (Monsalve, 139)
