Biographical details

A single woman of considerable fortune, from Salta, she gave money to various good causes. She founded the colegio de Educandas in 1824, bringing 3 beatas from Catamarca to staff it. Girls from good families and orphans attended it. She died on 11 May 1827. (Sosa de Newton, 393)
