Francisca Silveira de Ibarrola

Biographical details

Born in Buenos Aires in 1769, in 1834 she married Tadeo Ibarrola, a descendent of one of the founders of Buenos Aires. She was widowed in 1810 and her son was a colonel in the independence army. She contributed 100 pesos to the Upper Peru expedition and "the services of my only son". She died in Buenos Aires on 16 January 1834. (Sosa de Newton, 590)

Her parents were José Silveira and Agustina Roza de Arrazcaete. She married Tadeo Ibarrola, a descendant of one of the founders of Buenos Aires on 21 November 1785. In 1810 she was a widow and she presented her oldest son, Amadeo Ibarrola, to enrol in the independence army along with 100 pesos for the cost of the expedition. She died on 16 January 1834.
