Biographical details

The sister of Isidora Escobedo, daughter of Catalina Guanacachoque and wife of Pedro Venero, in 1783 she was arrested at Tinta, Cuzco, then sent to Lima in chains and imprisoned for her part in the Túpac Amaru rebellion. (Campbell, 192, 196)
