Micaela Suárez de Romero

Biographical details

She was born in Buenos Aires on 8 May 1774, the daughter of Féliz José Suárez and Juana Josefa Moreno. She married Esteban Romero, who later became one of the supporters of the independence movement. In 1810 she donated 100 pesos fuertes to the Upper Peru expedition. She died in 1830. (Carranza, 58-59)
