Biographical details

From Ayotzingo, Mexico, she was arrested in 1817, accused of using her house as a meeting place for rebels and working as a spy. She was tried in Chalco in 1818 and was sentenced to 2 years in prison, but released before serving her term. (Miquel i Vergés, 321)
