Biographical details

She was from Celaya, and married Pedro Moreno. In 1811 she was accused by the inquisition of supporting the independence cause and was excommunicated. When the judgement was announced, she put her fingers in her ears so that she could not hear them. (Miquel i Vergés, 65)
