Born in Guayaquil in 1717, she entered a convent on 23 April 1741. (Vasco de Escudero, 26)

She became prioress of the Convent Santa Catalina de Sena, Quito, and wrote her autobiography, Secretos entre el alma y Diós.(Knaster, 155.)

She died in 1795.
