Biographical details

Probably from Peru, she was awarded the Orden del Sol by San Martín in 1822. (Gaceta de Lima, 23-1-1822, p.3)

She distributed bulletins detailing the patriot movements and spreading propaganda. She was very discreet but was nonetheless imprisoned without real evidence. When she was in prison new papers began to circulate that were placed where visitors could retrieve them. (García y García, 249)
