La Condesa de Vista Alegre, señora de Arias de Saavedra y Lavalle, from Lima, kept food for the patriots in her home. (Parra de Riego, 250)

She hosted tertulias attended by aristocratic society, including San Martín. She established a hospital for wounded soldiers at her home. (García y García, 280-281)
