Biographical details

She was shot in Guadalupe, Colombia, in 1818 for her part in the independence struggles. (Hincapie Borda, 155)

In early December 1818 she was captured by the royalists for assisting the patriots and was executed on 18 December 1818 in the plaza of her native Guadalupe. (P. Forero, 46)
