Biographical details

He was teniente of police in 1787. He hosted tertulias of the literary society Academia Filarmónica , Lima, in 1787 and subscribed to El Mercurio Peruano, 1791-1793, and Diario de Lima. He wrote for El Mercurio Peruano under the pseudonym Hermágoras. (Clément, 10, 106, 135.)
