Biographical details

He was a member of the Academia Filarmónica, Lima, in 1787 until he was sent to Madrid by his work. He became archivero de la Secretaría de Cámera y Virreinato in 1787. He subscribed to El Mercurio Peruano, 1791-1793 and to Diario de Lima. He wrote for El Mercurio Peruano under the pseudonym Homótino. (Clément, 10, 110, 135)
