Biographical details

From Peru, she was the daughter and wife of patriots. She offered her services to the cause when they were most needed. She escaped from the hands of the royalists when they thought they had captured her, making them look ridiculous. She was awarded the Orden del Sol by San Martín in 1822. (García y García, 252, 295)
