Biographical details

Married to Captain Muro, after she was widowed, she led in the foundation of the Monasterio de Mercedarias, Lima. Her two daughters Tomasa and Bernarda shared her enthusiasm (although none of them were or became nuns). The monastery was consecrated in 1718. She donated 310,000 pesos and some rustic, rural fincas. (García y García, 159)
