Biographical details

Born into a distinguished family in Moquegua, near Arequipa, she married to Captain Benito Galdámez. She lived in Lima when widowed. In 1704, she contributed 3,000 soles to the founding of what eventually became San Sebastian monastery. She was declared founder and patron of the institution. In her will she left 4,000 pesos to the church in which she had been baptised in Moquegua. (García y García, 171)
