Born in Buenos Aires on 17 May 1799. She married Dr. Felipe Arana in 1816, Minister of foreign affairs for Rosas (and governor in Rosas's absence). She became a member of the Sociedad de Beneficencia in 1830 and was its president from January 1833-January 1835. (Sosa, 68)
