Biographical details

Born in Spain, she moved to Argentina and married Martín de Altolaguirre, friend of General Belgrano. She was a founder member of the Sociedad de Beneficencia and gave the inauguration speech in the president's absence. She died on 10 September 1840. (Sosa de Newton, 110)

She was the first Vice-President of the Sociedad de Beneficencia in 1823, of Mariquita Sánchez´s circle. (Zavalía Lagos, 137)
